A testimonial about Derek O’Boyle

Derek was our celebrant for our special day in Clonabreany House on 20th July, from our first day of contact to our big day Derek was amazing to work with.
We did a video call a few months before our ceremony and we knew from this encounter that we were in expert hands with Derek, he is so chilled, friendly and instantly made us realise we made the right decision by answering all of our many questions with ease and humour.
Nothing was too much hassle for Derek and he helped us create the most perfect ceremony which included our two boys and some of our family members, he provided us with some great ideas of what to do to make our ceremony different. Soon after our first online meeting he sent on a draft of what our ceremony would be like, this helped us understand how it would run on the day and made the process of deciding what music choices we wanted to select much easier as we could clearly see when music would be played.
On the day before our ceremony he checked on both my husband and I to make sure we were doing okay, ready to go and to remind us to take in the day and enjoy it all. After our ceremony we had so many people ask about Derek and if we knew him previously / if he was a childhood friend as our ceremony was so incredibly personal, intimate and emotional which was exactly what we wanted. People really got a feel for the love we have for each other through Derek and his words, the love in the room was electric and every one of our guests commented on how special it was to be there for our ceremony. Some of our friends who have hearts of steel even shed tears of joy during the ceremony!! 🤣 We cannot praise or thank Derek enough for being apart of our special day. He helped to perfectly set the tone for what was the most magical and loving day of our lives so far!
