PJ led our wedding ceremony in August 2025. We had initially met him at a wedding fair and after meeting with a handful of other celebrants we decided to go with PJ as he was the only one to get down to the nitty gritty and actually explain the process to us as to how to get married. PJ set up a call with us shortly after meeting him to go through the ceremony set up and offer us a choice of rituals. We had all edited a google doc so any changes could be seen by the 3 of us. On the day he arrived early and came to both the bride and groom on multiple occasions to calm our nerves and assist wherever possible. PJ spoke clearly and did everything we asked and more. We would definitely recommend him to anyone having a non religious ceremony!

PJ was a really excellent celebrant . He guided us through the process very smoothly and clearly . The documentation we needed to complete for the ceremony was very easily accessible online and we were given plenty of supporting documents to help us make the ceremony personal for us. On the day itself Pj was punctual and able to meet us ahead of the ceremony to talk us through the process and run of events – the ceremony was just what we wanted and PJ was great at delivering the official aspects as well as the personal elements we had included. We felt we were in very safe hands to help the ceremony go without a hitch.

PJ was fantastic at our recent wedding in Markree Castle! He put us at ease and guided us through each part of the ceremony. As people that do not like being the centre of attention the ceremony was a point of anxiety, he made us both feel at ease from our very first call, he went through the ceremony process and was very happy to customise it and really make it about us and in a way we wanted it. We had our wedding ceremony at Markree Castle in April 2022. All through the lead up our celebrant PJ O’Neill was wonderful to deal with, quick to reply to emails, great at sharing practical advice (re use of candles outdoors for example / song choice etc.) and accommodated us changing wording of the ceremony. He also reminded us about the green folder and came to speak to us on the day prior to the ceremony, he even made suggestions on the venue changing the chair type for us to be more comfortable! The ceremony outline / template he provided us with was really detailed.

Our celebrant PJ was so well dressed for our ceremony and a very happy, cheerful and fun presence, smiling in all the pictures we have.

The ceremony was beautiful and to us, much more personal and impactful then a religious ceremony (which is how we were brought up and the social norm in our group of friends and family).

Our celebrant left right after the ceremony but made sure not to leave without saying goodbye and letting us know.

We booked PJ for our wedding which was originally scheduled for august’20. Due to restrictions and uncertainty we had to postpone, we re-scheduled for early december. About 3 weeks before the date we had to change venue and witnesses. Nothing was a problem for PJ and he actually helped us find the alternative venue at short notice. The new venue far surpassed our original and PJ provided a fabulous ceremony on the day, he discreetly prompted us along throughout the ceremony and kept us both completely at ease. Thank you PJ for going above and beyond for us, we would have no problem passing on our highest recommendation to any couples considering booking.

We got married on 30/10/ 20 and we honestly couldn’t say enough to compliment our celebrant Pj O Neill.
From the very start he has been incredibly kind, approachable and helpful and really made the process of drafting our ceremony easy and enjoyable.

We originally intended to have a small civil ceremony at the registry office in Sligo and go to a restaurant for dinner after, even though we’re an easy going couple once we realised the civil office was upstairs at the health centre and that our wedding guests would be going through a doctors waiting room we looked at other options and very happy that we did.

We booked PJ to celebrate at the start of the year for our July wedding and he was helpful from the first call with him, when covid kicked off in March there was lots of uncertainty whether the wedding could go ahead and PJ worked with us throughout including a last minute change of venue due to social distancing requirements. All the finer details and coordination with the hotel and guests on the day was taken care of with total professionalism and we both felt comfortable in his company and throughout the ceremony. We recommend PJ to any couples thinking of getting married without any hesitation.

When we decided we were getting married we very much wanted a relaxed, personal ceremony which included our 2 children.
Our spiritual ceremony was exactly that.
The website is easy to navigate and the booking process was very straightforward.
When we met PJ our solemnisor, he was lovely, we immediately felt relaxed with him and he patiently helped us personalise our ceremony by letting us include my parents lighting a candle to celebrate their wedding anniversary and us using significant coloured ribbons for the hand tying ceremony.
The ceremony was beautiful, all our family and friends commented on it, saying how personal and relaxed it was, one guest said it truly reflected the fun, honest and relaxed relationship myself and now husband have with each other and I think that says it all really.
