John James Hickey-Moriarty officiated our wedding in Ashley Park House in December. We had the most beautiful, considered ceremony and his influence contributed is the most special part of our wedding day. We felt so comfortable after our first chat that we didn’t hesitate to book him, after that, the communication and process were seamless. We felt comfortable and informed throughout the process as John-James advised and guided us on lots of the different choices we could make for the celebration. He brought our ceremony and stories together beautifully, and made a room of 150 people feel like an intimate gathering. We would highly recommend him for any couple’s wedding. Kerry & I had an engagement party recently in the Killaloe Hotel & Spa, Co. Clare. However, it was a secret wedding, to surprise everyone. John Hickey- Moriarty was our celebrant and bravely kept our secret for three months.

We could not recommend John highly enough. From the first moment we met, he entered into the spirit of what we wanted. he was warm, friendly, professional, sincere and he understood our sense of fun. From when we first met up with John, we knew we were in safe hands. He totally understood how we wanted the day to feel. John sent us the script around two months before the wedding, and we were delighted. It was personal and matched the tone of our celebration perfectly. On the day, John was fantastic, he brought our ceremony to life as he revealed our secret.

John made our special day even more special. He was wonderful from start to finish, the care and attention to detail was super and the way in which he delivered our ceremony was magical.

We got married in May 2024 and John Hickey Moriarty was our celebrant. He was absolutely amazing, the whole process was made so relaxed and stress-free, but at the same time so sacred and personal to us also. John was so helpful from initial booking and putting the ceremony together, right up to the big day itself. On the day itself John was wonderful, we loved every moment of the Ceremony, it was everything we wanted and more.

John Hickey Moriarty officiated our marriage on Sunday the 2nd of June 2024 in our home. We had done the legal side of things the couple of days beforehand and while this was nice it wasn’t a patch on our spiritual ceremony. John made it outstanding, from the very beginning of the planning John made us feel so at ease and just like we wanted no big fuss or too rigid in our big day. From the initial planning of ceremony things changed for us dramatically with the passing of both my parents and at one point we were unsure if we should proceed or not, but again John was understanding and sympathetic and helped us in every way he possibly could. A few days before the ceremony we had a spanner thrown in the works that pushed all our times out by 2 hours and this was so so gratefully reorganised by John with no hassle. On the day John not only looked the part looking so so dapper in his suit but his words and his tone and his whole demeanour made our special day even more special. He fitted into our day so beautifully we could not have asked for better. He had no problem to have our kids involved, have a little light joke, he even had a welcome word for our guests in Italian as my husband’s family were over. From beginning to end John was outstanding in every single way, having known John locally made it easier and more special for us and we wouldn’t change a thing.
