Derek performed two naming ceremonies for us in the last couple of years for our daughters. Both very different but very special at the same time.
Derek was so easy to work with and from the first appointment was totally understanding of what we wanted and helped us write the most beautiful ceremony for both girls.
Our son was delighted too as he was included and so proud being the big brother.

We would highly recommend Derek for any celebration.

Derek was our celebrant at our wedding and he was absolutely fantastic. From our first meeting he made the process of planning our ceremony stress free. He provided a draft ceremony with lots of material that we could choose from. The result was a ceremony that was emotional with lots of humour. Everyone thought it was a beautiful ceremony. Derek was our celebrant for our special day on the 26th March 2022, wow, what can we say, from day one of contact with Derek right down to the day he was absolutely amazing.
Derek is brilliant at what he does and makes you feel at ease and comfortable at every decision. From one video call he done the layout of our ceremony exactly how we always dreamed it would be including our three kids at every turn and making them feel so special, from there we knew we were in excellent hands. On our day before our ceremony he checked on both my husband and I to make sure we were doing okay, ready to go and to breath. After our ceremony we had so many people ask about Derek and if we knew him previous as our ceremony was so personal, intimate and emotional which was what we wanted and was just amazing. People really got a feel for the love we have for each other through Derek and his words. We cannot praise him enough or thank him enough for being apart of our special day. Thank you so so much Derek you made our day very loving and special ❤

Derek was the celebrant for our wedding on Sept 10th 2021. From start to finish he was absolutely amazing to deal with. He was so warm and open and made myself and my partner feel so comfortable with the layout of our ceremony. On the day itself he was so calming and reassuring and made sure to pop out to us to go over everything before we took the walk down the aisle. All of our guests complimented us on how personal the ceremony was and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house by the time the ceremony was over… all thanks to Derek. We wish we could do the whole day all over again.

Derek put us at our ease from the start. Professional, friendly and helpful, answering every question we had, which were many. He helped us plan our ceremony, giving guidance if we asked for it and enabling us to organise it so it would be truly personal to us both.
It was absolutely magical on the day. Many guests commented on how Derek made the ceremony special with a perfect balance of solemnity for the occasion and lightheartedness for all to enjoy. We all felt the love in the room.
We couldnt praise Derek enough and would love to relive that ceremony if we could.

Where do I start? I cried tears of joy from the opening of the ceremony to the end. The ceremony was amazing. To be able to include our family, friends and parents throughout the ceremony in so many little ways, meant the world to us. As you said on the day, “Today is not only about the joining of two people, but the joining of two families”.

We were at ease with you from when we met you first and knew we were in safe hands. You have a lovely way about you, and kept us both relaxed and calm on the day. None of our requests or questions (no matter how odd) were ever too much trouble. Everyone’s wedding day is special, but ours was especially so, because of our ceremony.

We just wanted to send on a special note of thanks to you for such a warm and beautiful ceremony. We knew from the start that a church wedding was not for us, but were unsure of what exactly a spiritual ceremony could or would be like. Thank you for your support, patience and guidance in helping us create the perfect ceremony for us.

For most of our guests on the day, this was their first spiritual wedding ceremony. Everyone was blown away on how loving, personal and “us” the ceremony was. It truly reflected our love for each other. We especially loved including our parents in binding us together during the hand-fastening ceremony, it will always be such a special memory for us both.
