We recently had Carol Cotter preform our wedding for us, and all we can say is wow. From meeting Carol for the first time, to working together to build our ceremony and the actual wedding day itself, Carol went above and beyond and gave us the ceremony of our dreams. We planned our wedding from overseas and Carol had been amazing and accommodating every step of the way. So many people at our wedding came up after and have said how amazing she was; she truly made our experience everything we could have ever wanted and more. From the very first day we met Carol to the day she married us , she has been nothing short of amazing! She was so helpful with the run up to the wedding. From the initial booking of process, online payments, email communication, it was a very easy guide to follow. Carol was a Angel sent to us, guiding us and maintaining contact until our 1st face to face meeting where she walked through the whole ceremony and answered any questions we had. Our wedding took place on December 9th in the Stephouse in Borris, Co. Carlow. We had the pleasure of seeing Carol celebrate a wedding in 2019 with our friends and we knew from then we wanted Carol on our special day.

At the initial meeting, Carol was thorough and understanding of our wishes. There was instant connection and we were confident that part of the day would be extremely special. In the midst of the planning, Carol was a breathe of fresh air and a reminder to slow down and enjoy the process.

On the day of the ceremony, Carol was incredible. She was the highlight for many guests and the feedback has been amazing. She guided us through the ceremony with tears and laughter and created the most special memories for us. The lighting of the candles with both our mother’s is a standout moment for me, as she spoke about significance having our mother’s present on the day.

Carol helped us with a sand ceremony together with our 2 young children. Carol did this fantastically and with great humour as we laughed our way through sand spilling everywhere!!!

Carol is a special of our journey starting this next chapter of married life together. If I could do the ceremony with Carol again, I’d do it in a heartbeat.

What an amazing experience from start to finish. My husband and I got married on the 20th October 2022. Carol scheduled a quick call with us a couple of months before our wedding and from that one conversation, she fully understood not only our vision for the ceremony but also our dynamic as a couple. On Sunday 11th July we got married in Castlemartyr Resort and Carol Cotter was our celebrant.

We can’t say enough good things about Carol – she is nothing short of amazing. From the moment we met her on Zoom, it felt like we’d always known her. She radiated a warmth and kindness that put us so much at ease. After that, we were in regular contact. Carol suggested we set up a WhatsApp group between the 3 of us and it was the best idea. Carol was always available to answer our many questions no matter when we text or called her. She listened and guided us every step of the way to make our ceremony so special and personal to us.

We have a 2.5 year daughter, Mollie. The way Carol included her in to the ceremony is something we’ll never forget. As with all toddlers, they don’t perform on queue! Mollie stole the show, but while we were panicking inside and anticipating her next move, Carol kept things so relaxed and calm. She was an absolute natural. The ceremony was delivered beautifully. It was everything we wished for and more.

Like us, our family were blown away by Carol. She was the topic of conversation for several days after.

We could not recommend Carol more. She is an absolutely beautiful soul, a true professional and was made to do the job she does. If we could change one thing it would be that Carol could’ve stayed with us for the whole day!

We were delighted to have Carol marry us at the weekend. From our initial contact with Carol she has been a pleasure to deal with and made the whole process very easy. Any query we had she replied to us very quickly.
The ceremony itself was amazing, it was so personal and emotional Carol made us feel at ease and she is so well spoken there wasn’t a dry eye in the room.

Myself and my new husband Gary had the pleasure of having Carol Cotter as our celebrant on Friday 2nd July last. Carol was fantastic and made us both instantly relaxed. Carol made the ceremony very personable and we really enjoyed it . Both our families commented how lovely Carol was and how intimate and wonderful the ceremony was. We couldn’t recommend Carol highly enough. From our first phone call (due to Covid) Carol put us both at ease. She explained everything so clearly, went through every aspect of the ceremony, giving us all the information but letting us ultimately decide on what we wanted for the day. She also provided great support to us, calling us to check in, meeting us both just before the ceremony, which really helped calm nerves!

During the ceremony Carol put everyone at ease. It was the perfect mix of formal but relaxed. We all laughed. She delivered the ceremony beautifully and kept everyone engaged. Also, including our son in the unity candle part was one of the most special moments for us, and We are so thankful that Carol suggested it.

After booking Garryvoe Hotel and a local east Cork church for 130 plus guests covid hit. We had already rebooked and changed dates before the dreaded corona virus hit and we genuinely thought we’d be OK. We decided if we had to cut numbers a civil ceremony might be nicer (still hoping for the 100 guests) we were put in touch with Carol through spiritual ceremonies. After speaking with nearly 7/8 different celebrants from different companies and backgrounds I knew Carol was for us, and that was only after a phone conversation.

Everything she had in mind was exactly what we wanted but we couldn’t put it into words.
From the vows to the remembrance candle to helping us to include our daughter she really thought of every detail. Her communication and response to any query we had was imminent.
Carol rang me the week of, incase I had any last minute issues or changes and kept in constant contact.

On the morning of, she had a chat with my now husband and really put him at ease she then called up to me in the suite and it was so lovely to have a one on one with her as she really was the most important part of our day.
Nothing was a problem and everything was so relaxed. I can honestly say she is amazing at what she does. A true sweetheart. The way she spoke about our relationship was very touching. Even though we only had 6 guests it was all i could have asked for and more.
Everyone complimented on how beautiful the ceremony was. I wouldn’t have changed a single thing. Thank you Carol.

My husband Brain and I count ourselves extremely lucky to have been assigned Carol to officiate our wedding.
We had only ever been to one spiritual ceremony and weren’t exactly sure what was involved. We both just knew we wanted something personal to us and seeing as we aren’t particularly religious it seemed like the best fit for us. We couldn’t have been more right!

From the very start of our planning in Australia Carol was preparing us and giving us all the different ceremony options. We even had a chat over the phone to get to know each other before we moved back home a few months before the big day.
Unfortunately we were one of many couples that had to postpone due to covid but Carol couldn’t have been any more supportive and her positivity about going ahead with our big day with six guests really put our mind at ease.

We never got to meet Carol before our wedding but because of her constant checking in on WhatsApp and Zoom we felt so relaxed and she made everything so easy.

The ceremony was absolutely perfect, better than we could have ever imagined.
It was so personal to us and she added an amazing piece about us that had us all laughing and crying. Carol is so down to earth and made the whole experience and day fun and enjoyable.

So lets set the scene, booked the wedding early in 2020, thinking normality would be restored by the time Jan 2021 came around, basically a pandemic wedding and getting married the second time round for both of us and being clueless!

You’d think scary times to plan a wedding but not with our solemiser Carol Cotter! This lady is fantastic. We are living in Limerick but for family reasons, married in Cork. We met Carol when restrictions were lifted a few months before out big day, no idea what to expect. Carol put us both at ease. She’s probably the nicest and most professional person you could ever meet.

She was always an email away, and when I panicked, she was a friend reassuring me, that everything would work out. She was 100% right. Even when I thought I’d have to change my wedding day, she was on board and so accommodating and nothing was too much!

This woman will give you the personal touch to your big day and for that I thank her. Lots of answered emails and phone calls, above and beyond. The ceremony, thanks to Carol, had some funny aspects in it which calmed us down as we were a bit shaky. It was just a beautiful ceremony. I thought second time round would be a bit robotic but Carol made our wedding ceremony, romantic, intimate and all about us and our family, which made it out of this world special

I met Carol the morning of my wedding and she gave me some great advice, initially I was surprised but she gave the hotel staff strict instructions and voila…. you’ll have to book her to get that advice…sorry but well worth it❤❤❤

How you managed to tailor a ceremony that completely reflected our personalities with only one meeting, ( due to circumstances unforeseen ) is beyond us. Not only did she take the time to meet with us and answer our questions in person before the big day but was also extremely responsive with questions leading up to the wedding. We had some anxiety with getting married abroad (we are from the U.S.) and Carol checked on things to make sure everything was legal and easy for us.
