Áine was an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish. We got married in August 2023, and looking back on the day, the ceremony was truly our favourite part — and that was largely thanks to Áine.

From our very first chat, both Ronan and I felt completely at ease with her. She has such a warm and gentle nature, and she guided us through everything so naturally, which we really appreciated as we didn’t know where to start.

Áine created a ceremony that felt personal, relaxed, and very “us.” I couldn’t recommend her more highly — she brought something really special to our day.

We couldn’t have asked for a better celebrant for our wedding than Aine. From the very beginning, Aine made us feel relaxed, listened to, and truly understood our story. It was great to get the opportunity to meet Aine in person a few weeks before the wedding to help relax us. ceremony was personal, heartfelt, and beautifully delivered — so many of our guests commented on how special it felt. We’re incredibly grateful.

It was both our first time as a couple going to a ceremony outside of a church, so we didn’t really know what to fully expect!
Aine met me outside the venue as I arrived to introduce herself and ensure I felt comfortable with her before I walked down the aisle. It was a really special touch.

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Aine as our celebrant, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. From the moment we first spoke, she made us feel at ease with her warm, welcoming personality and professional approach. As we live abroad, Aine made time to connect with us over Zoom and was always at the end of an email if we had any questions or wanted advice. On one of our visits back home prior to the wedding, we were able to meet in person which really helped build that connection and we were very grateful to her for that.

Aine was a terrific celebrant. She made the process very simple and guided us all the way throughout. On the day of the ceremony Aine lay calm to the nerves we thought we didn’t have, lol, and took us through each part before we began.

We had a quiet and simple elopement ceremony with Aine at beautiful Uragh stone circle. From the very first meeting with Aine over zoom (and across the Atlantic as we are from the States) we felt she understood what we wanted for our ceremony immediately and picked up on her calm, stable, grounded and serene energy. She helped us with some major details like reserving the space for us and finding a low key photographer that made our experience perfect. Her talents and wisdom shone through during our ceremony and we felt very honored to have her as our Celebrant. We highly recommend Aine!

Me and my wife had a Civil ceremony at the Dunloe Hotel & Gardens last July and Aine Brosnan was the one who made everything so easy and relaxing from the day we meet her until the day she married us. Áine performed our ceremony in Dromquinna Manor in September and we couldn’t have been happier with it – from start to finish Áine was a pleasure to deal with! We met her for a coffee a few months before and she completely put us at ease – especially as I was really nervous about getting emotional and not getting through the vows. She made some lovely suggestions so that we could share vows privately together but also have a lovely ceremony with our friends and family.

Seán arrived to the ceremony a little flustered after forgetting his tie and having a few stressful moments in the morning and chatting with Áine completely calmed him. I really appreciated that she came out to me before the ceremony for a hug and a chat and after that it everything fell into place and we just loved our day!

We had countless people tell us at the reception that they hadn’t been to a spiritual ceremony before and had really loved it. So many people asked us about Áine after. It was so relaxed and personal and special.

Aine was lovely to work with for our wedding. She went out of her way to ensure everything was in order when we had some issues with the paperwork afterwards.

Aine officiated our ceremony in June of 2022. She was fantastic every step of the way. We were able to have a beautiful ceremony but thanks to Aine it felt very personal relaxed and intimate. Her constant reassurance and support meant we were never worried and she was a wonderful calming influence on the day.

Aine was a great asset to us and helped us right through the whole process of our wedding ceremony. Aine told our story to perfection with the way she interpreted into the ceremony everybody laughed and cried in equal amounts. I cannot express my gratitude for the ceremony on Friday. You brought such a sense of reverence and spirituality that is exactly what I wanted. Being brought up Catholic, I struggled for many years with various different aspects of the church. I have since found my own spirituality grounded in Celtic beliefs and Early Christian aspects. I thought it would be extremely difficult to find someone who would be able to conduct the ceremony exactly as I wanted it, but you did it all.

My whole family, who are very spiritual like myself, just felt like it was a beautiful experience.

It was a pleasure to have a woman conduct it, and I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your understanding, your patience and your kindness.

Aine, thank you so much on the beautiful ceremony for myself and Richard and our five children. We particularly enjoyed the sand ceremony. It was so special and the children felt so included.

Aine was the celebrant at our wedding on 4 October 2019. Working with Aine was a pleasure from start to finish. We met a few weeks beforehand to discuss details and she was very helpful in sending us ideas, especially ones that involved our three children. Deciding on the format of the final ceremony was effortless as a result, and she was also really helpful in accommodating our musical interludes. On the day itself she made us feel so comfortable and was wonderfully calming and sincere. She generated a delightfully warm aura during the ceremony, which made it a memorable event for all and set the tone for the whole day. Gurbh míle maith agat!

Words can’t express how fortunate Julia and I were to have you perform our ceremony on a day at Slea Head that could not have been more perfect. The time to coordinate everything was very short due to our part. From your first email to the skype call we felt sure you were the right person. Once in Ireland traveling from U.S. you met with us face to face to go over the final plans for the ceremony. You were very understanding to our needs and made us feel comfortable. On the day of our wedding we had forgotten the ribbons at the hotel for the hand tying part of the ceremony. Being that you wanted our day to work out the way it was planned you had a back up set of ribbons for us. Your care to see that we would have a day we could never forget came to be. Aine Brosnan presided of our wedding ceremony in the Gap of Dunloe in July 2019. Coming from the US to marry in Ireland definitely could have been a stressful nightmare, but with Aine’s help it was anything but that. Her contact with us began with Skype calls, we grew a familiarity with each other so that next few months of planning were easy and fun. She was readily available to answer any questions that we had and help guide us through planning the ceremony aspect. Aine was even so kind as to help scout out the perfect location in the Gap of Dunloe for the ceremony, and she was spot on! The location couldn’t have been more beautiful. We were so thrilled with the help she provided and the work she did to ensure we had a memorable wedding, we could never thank her enough!

When we decided on a spiritual ceremony and started to reserach celebrants, Aine Brosnan was recommend to us on several occasions. We were thrilled to learn she was available for our date and she did not disappoint when we met her in person. She really has the balance of professionalism and endearment.

We got married in The Great Southern in Killarney on the 25th of October 2019. Aine Brosnan was our celebrant for the occasion.

Aine met with us during the summer in Kerry to introduce herself and get to hear a little bit about us before she made a start on drafting our ceremony.

Aine made sure our ceremony was just what we wanted – personal and unique to us and working with her guidance we were able to co-write our ceremony with her which made it the “story of us”.

We involved James’ two children by including a sand ceremony and they were delighted to be able to pick their sand colours from a photo of sand colours that Aine had sent to us. This was a lovely thing to include and we have wonderful photos of that part of the ceremony in particular.

Many of our guests had only ever been to Church wedding ceremonies and have since said to us that our ceremony was full of laughter and happiness from start to finish. There were lots of light hearted moments which made everyone smile.

Aine was not just a legal solemniser, she is a genuine celebrant in that she really wanted to celebrate our story as a couple on the occasion of our marriage.

We will be forever grateful to Aine for our beautiful ceremony. She was a pleasure to deal with.
