We cannot possibly speak highly enough of Ailish. From our first conversation she just got us and the relaxed vibe we wanted for our wedding ceremony. She included our children and other requests with ease and made us feel totally relaxed, we really did not have one single concern about the ceremony- we trusted that she listened to us, sent drafts with lots of options for us, and on the day was absolutely spot on with the vibe she created with ease! Ailish is a wonderful at her job, an absolute natural and we simply could not recommend her highly enough. We are so delighted to have had Ailish as our celebrant.

Ailish was our celebrant for our recent wedding in Kilshane House, Tipperary, and she made our ceremony a truly memorable one. We were very lucky to have Ailish perform our wedding ceremony at the Dingle Skellig Hotel in June 2025. She met with us virtually multiple times beforehand to craft and edit our ceremony script, as we were planning from out of the country. When we started we had only a general feeling of what we wanted and she brought multiple options and ideas to our attention and worked with us patiently until we had a completely personalized plan. She did all of this within a relatively short time frame and by the end we felt like we knew her well; it was like meeting a friend when we met in person before the ceremony! We could not be happier with how the ceremony went on the actual day, and especially appreciated the quick run-through she gave us beforehand to set us at ease. Where do we start? Ailish was nothing but outstanding throughout our wedding journey. When we set up the meeting with Ailish to plan our wedding ceremony we didn’t know what to expect and were nervous about how it was going to go. When we met up and sat down and started talking she calmed us down with her personality and attention to detail.

She’s very professional yet easygoing at the same time. Every bit of our conversation was relaxed and pleasant.

She asked us about how we met and all sorts of detail about us and what we think about each other. She then proceeded to go through the different options for the ceremony and if we wanted to include some poems or special thanks all while carefully writing things down on her questionnaire.

As months flew by she has been contacting us via email and helped us visualize our ceremony by sending us our personalised script for the day. It calmed us down greatly knowing what we can expect and how things are going to go.

During the big day Ailish arrived at the venue an hour or so before it all began to prepare and meet up with everyone beforehand also discussing everyone’s roles for those that had a speech or read a poem or demonstrated how the handfasting ceremony was supposed to look like.

Everything went extremely well and without any problems. Ailish is fantastic at what she does and we will definitely recommend her to those who need a celebrant for their own personalised wedding ceremony.

We weren’t too quick to reply to emails or update our drafts but Ailish understood and always said not to worry.

From our very first contact with Ailish we knew that she was the right celebrant for us as she was so bright, bubbly, knowledgeable and extremely supportive. This was only cemented further when we met her for a coffee and a two hour chat a few weeks later. She really took the time to get to know us and was very open to our ideas when it came to listening to our ceremony wish list, which really showed on the day as our ceremony represented us as individuals and as a couple so well. She encouraged us to include various elements and rituals that she saw fitting and she had our ceremony script typed up nearly 12 months before our special day.
She was at all times professional, polite, patient and really prompt with replying to our emails with any questions our queries that we had in the lead up to our big day.
On the day itself, Ailish oversaw the ceremony with professionalism, enthusiasm (and organisation!) and set the tone for what turned out to be such a memorable ceremony. Ailish had such a great balance of humour and sincerity throughout which made everyone feel at total ease as the ceremony flowed very naturally from one section to the next.
The ceremony was the absolute highlight of our day and we feel this was down to the ambiance that Ailish created before the ceremony started welcoming all our guests and speaking to any of our ceremony participants beforehand. She took in every little detail of the ceremony and sent us the most personalised card, text message and email after our big day recapping our ceremony from her perspective which was such a lovely touch.

We are over-the-moon happy to have worked with Ailish for our destination wedding in Ireland from New York City. She was the absolute best and we loved collaborating to make our dream ceremony a reality! From the moment we were connected, Ailish was so kind to us – she was warmly enthusiastic about our union and incredibly helpful when it came to giving us information about legally getting married in Ireland as well as incorporating Irish traditions into our ceremony to embrace our wedding destination and shared heritage. When we connected “face to face” over video call about six months before our wedding to really begin building out our ceremony, we officially knew we were in great hands and going to make something really special with our ceremony. She was so thoughtful in getting to know us personally and what we envisioned for our big day, and after the call offered us so many amazing suggestions for ceremony elements, flow and readings. The ceremony script/outline she carefully and beautifully crafted was honestly perfect from the start – all we had to do was make decisions about readings, readers, etc. It was so helpful and assuring to have our ceremony pretty much set in weeks to months in advance of the big day. And on the big day itself, Ailish was truly wonderful!!! She made us and all of our guests smile, laugh and cry – everyone commented afterward how much they adored Ailish and our ceremony itself, saying it was one of the best they’ve ever experienced. Ailish, were do we start. Your are truly amazing. When we first met you we knew straight away we wanted you as our wedding celebrant. Ailish was just so lovely and has such a positive persona about her. She helped us every step of the way with our vows and made sure our ceremony was exactly how we wanted it to be. ~Where to start. From the very first zoom call during covid we knew Ailish was the Lady that was going to marry us. And a Lady she is. From start to finish we never worried once about our ceremony. When we did meet in person and go through our script she picked up on our personalities immediately. We wanted lighthearted but sentimental and we had that in spades. The script she put together for us couldnt have been wrote any better. Any little parts we needed to change was done without a second. Always so reassuring and came with a fountain of knowledge and no pressure or judgement. We had so many of our guests comment on how beautiful our ceremony was conducted and how professional Ailish was. This is purely because of her obvious love for her Job.

From the moment we first spoke to Ailish she made us feel at ease. We live in the UK so didn’t get the chance to meet face to face very often however she kept us up to date via email and always replied to any queries so quickly. She knew what to ask us to get the information out of us to make our ceremony so personal and was quick to make any changes we required. From first contact with Ailish we knew right away she was the celebrant we wanted to facilitate this very special wedding ceremony. In her first phone call with us we could feel the warmth and compassion in her nature that translated through all our journey together.
When meeting in person Ailish displayed an easy personable nature that was kind and sensitive to emotional subjects while still enjoying a laugh and banter between us. Her questions captured the best of us and drew out conversations about our relationship without difficulty. We were delighted with how Ailish artistically formed the ceremony script on the back of these conversations and felt she had gained real insight to us. It is no easy task to delve into the details of a couples relationship ( the ups and the downs!) whilst not being intrusive, holding a space for us a as couple to feel safe and comfortable in expressing private affairs.
In the lead up to the wedding work was very busy for us and we felt bad we hadn’t finalized the script early enough but Ailish never showed any stress and on the day she was calm and composed checking in with the nervous groom and all those who played parts in the ceremony.
Ailish facilitated so many of our personal requests including having our beloved dog as part of the ceremony! It very much felt like a reflection of us and we wouldn’t’ve have changed a thing. Many of our guests commented on it being one of the loveliest services they have attended! One guest was even wistful he hadn’t had her for his recent wedding.
We received a beautiful detailed email from her post ceremony and it really shows just how much care and thought she puts into her work and how she is considerate of couples even after the day has passed. We really highly recommend her and are so very grateful she was our celebrant in helping us cross this special threshold.

Ailish was our celebrant for our ceremony in June 2022! We found her to be so accommodating, she met us at night due to our differing schedule’s and nothing was too difficult. Having Ailish as our celebrant was a pleasure and joy. She is so easy going.
From the very first call to discuss our wedding she had us laughing and stress free. We got to involve all our five kids with having a sand ceromony.

It was the most amazing experience from start to finish. Ailish Neville married my husband and I and I can’t say enough about her. She was truly amazing. I didn’t always respond quickly to her emails and she was patient and understanding. I only had a few months to organise the wedding with Covid etc. I wanted an intimate ceremony with lots of emotion and that’s exactly what I got. The groom forgot the unity candles and flowers and Ailish was so good to have some spare to use for the ceremony. So thank you for such a wonderful experience ❤️ Anne Marie & Andy Sept 2021

We had Ailish as our solemniser for our wedding on 11/09/2021. Ailish was fantastic, she completely personalised our ceremony to us and made sure we were 100% happy with everything before the day. She was such a warm, calming presence on the day, making sure our ceremony went smoothly and that our children were included throughout. We are so glad that we went with Spiritual Ceremonies and had Ailish as our solemniser. Thanks again for everything, it was a fantastic day.
