Becoming a Celebrant

All of our celebrants are members of the Spiritualist Union of Ireland. They receive extensive professional training which also includes shadowing experienced celebrants.

The Spiritualist Union of Ireland has two different types of celebrant
1. Officiant
2. Minister

There are criteria set by the Union that elevates a celebrant from that of an Officiant to a Minister.

Our ceremonies include :

  • Naming Ceremonies
  • Legally binding Wedding Ceremonies
  • Wedding Blessings
  • Wedding Vow Renewals
  • Civil Partnership Celebration Ceremonies (Northern Ireland only)
  • Celebration of Life Ceremony

If you are a Spiritualist/Spiritually minded and wish to enquire about becoming a celebrant please forward your CV to info@spiritualceremonies.
